I know what you’re thinking: you’re thinking “Ralph, your basic arithmetic is less than satisfactory!”, and you’d be quite wrong. Contrariwise, I say unto you that you simply don’t know what units I’m using. The formula is dd – mm = yyyy. Thus 451 days minus 3 months equals 1 year. Maths notwithstanding, wtf am I bleating on about?
Well, this is my roundabout and unnecessarily convoluted way of telling you that I’ve been given another contract extension at work, which now takes me up to the end of March next year. This in turn means I have another year of paid employment to secure which, if I do, takes me to the completion of The Plan™. Yay me 
Yes, yes, I know – sorry. I’ve been rushed off my hooves since I got back from india and the last thing I’ve had time to do is write any of it down. So, sorry. I will get round to it, maybe this weekend when I have a free moment or two.
